Our restaurant boasts a wine list of over 200 selections and a full bar. Our wine selections are all catalogued and tagged by bin number and are stored in our temperature-humidity controlled wine cellars in the dining room as well as underground. All servers are trained in wine service and take written and oral exams as part of this training. Their knowledge of varietals, their origins and characteristics allows the ability to satisfy our guests in their search for that special wine.
Our staff is also schooled in tableside cart service including decanting of wine and seasoning of stemware. Our in-house Manager/Sommelier along with our local wine distributors and visiting wine makers give seminars on a regular basis. Our sommelier attends most wine functions in South Florida as well as Vinitaly (Verona, Italy) and the Gambero Rosso’s Three Glasses Wine Tasting in New York. We organize seasonal wine dinners that include the White Truffles from Alba Month in October and various other encounters to celebrate Italian regional food and wine. We use our House-Charge (Caffe Luna Rosa credit cards) database to invite our local food and wine aficionados to these celebrations.
